Below is the transcript (I have ADHD, so everytime I do public speaking, I have to write out what I’m going to say verbatim so I don’t get off track) for the workshop I taught for Inkwell.

Before proceeding, just make sure you read the title: “Growing as a Writer in the Substack Era.” These are tips and tricks and general guidelines for growing your skill as an online writer. These aren’t guidelines for growing your Substack. They’re catered toward how writing itself is a spiritual discipline, along with how we can grow in our craft, interact well with others online, and generally focus more on the joys of writing as opposed to the joys of platform building — the latter of which, I’m convinced, contains a dismal level of joy.
